I took some time to look through all the choices for deck boxes on Amazon, and I settled on this one. It's taller and narrower than some, but perfect for the space in which I wanted to place it, under an overhang. I think it was easy to assemble (my son does all of my assembly at home, but he's pretty apt at this sort of thing), and it has some nice, soft-close hinges that also hold the top open. Inside there is a liner with a zip top. It isn't waterproof, but so far with the overhang and lack of a lot of rain, none of my outdoor cushions have gotten wet. I think I'll probably cover it this winter though.Great product with large storage. Totally waterproof. Very difficult to assemble as all part identification stickers had fallen off. Took two of us with trial and error at least 2 1/2 hour to assemble correctly.Keeps things clean and dry holds 3 big seat cushions and 3 accent pillows no problem and probably c po uld fit one more seat cushion. Large square, putting together a bir of a pain but not to bad.Assembly was easy to follow. Perfect for storing cushions. Absolutely LOVE IT.The tool that is provided to tighten the nuts is impractical and difficult to use in the tight spaces. I got out my socket wrench and that was much easier to useThe size is great and it looks way better than the ugly plastic boxes. We put our furniture covers in the bin when we take them off.I love that this storage box is additional seating for my deck. It also has the capacity to securely hold the seat cushions for my outdoor sectional. I like the zip liner in the storage box to keep the cushions dry and cleanWanted to free up some space in our garage and this was perfect for our outdoor patio cushions. We have had it for a few months now and have been through a bunch of rain storms in south Louisiana heat and humidity. I highly recommend this for anything you need to store outside and keep protected.
