The hammock arrived right on time.The hammock material is made of a heavy duty material. It’s a bit plastic like feeling sort of like an industrial trap. Seems like it will hold up well to rips and most likely won’t rot. Very water resistant. It may be a bit sticky to bare skin on a hot day. No air flow through the material. I think mosquitoes will have a hard time biting through it.My biggest complaint is whoever strung the webbing installed the material so that all the sewn seams are on the side you lay on. If I wanted to untie 36 knots I suppose I could turn it over. It’s sort of like wearing a shirt inside out right now. Most people won’t notice this but as you’re lying on it for long periods of time it’s hard not to think of the dummy that strung it upside down.The string is a soft cotton type material. I guess I was expecting something a bit more weather resistant but so far no issues.I really wish the wooden bamboo supports were one piece rather then being hinged. I could see this being a weak point at sometime in the future but for now it doesn’t seem to be an issue.Overall the curved design is very nice looking and pretty comfortable with a pillow.Im keeping the product despite a few issues. 4 out of 5 stars is the best I’d rate this hammock.So glad I went with this model, it is sturdy, very well made and easy to clean. The material is very cool and I love the look.I hung this between two trees lakeside. It dries quickly, has not stained, and has remained new looking.I’ve had this hammock for a little over two months and came out to use it today to find one end had completely unraveled. This is a two person hammock and it’s mostly been me using it by myself with my 3 year old grandson joining me on occasion, so no usage that would explain such damage. I am so bummed because it was SO comfortable!!!Shipped fast, easy setup, so comfortable. Did not realize how humongous it is. Great for cuddling.Great quality! The wood is varnished and curved for longer wear. Ive had many other hammocks before this one and they never seem to last more than a year or 2.Very pleased with my purchaseThe hammock is coated in a plastic like finish. It get dirty easily, holds water on it after rain, and is hot in the sun. It is not very stable to get on and off of and although it hasn't happened yet, feels as if it will flip easily.The surface is too slippery,tend to slide when getting in.
